Positive: Fabulous view and location. Can walk to the beach, pool, snorkeling spot or trail. Great to have a view over the beach. Very quiet. Could see the sunrise. We could park our car in front of the unit and there were no stairs to get inside. It was easy to unload luggage and groceries. It’s a beautiful home! Lovely kitchen.
Negative: Vacasa was not impressive. I texted them about the AC not working at 6:30. They texted back and said they would look into it. By the time I checked back in with them at 7pm, they were closed! Did not reply until the morning. They sent a maintenance guy who “looked at” the AC and dryer but didn’t fix anything. I had provided the measurements for the air filter which we took out, because the AC unit message said it needed to be changed. It was completely dirty, and we just removed it. Despite all the kerfufffle, the AC unit turned on that first night and the dryer started working the next day. The shower is hard to get into (sunken tub with edging) and the water always leaks onto the top of the tub and pools water that never drains. The sofa bed was flimsy and had a big bar in the middle so our gusts just slept on the unfolded, narrow sofas, which were well padded.
